The day after Thanksgiving we left Sara’s parents house to go visit with Mark’s family. It always seems that we celebrate the day after Thanksgiving with his family. This year we celebrated that all of us were together! One of Mark’s cousin’s just returned for a year in Afghanistan, Mark’s brother and his family came from California, and we were there. Everyone in one place. (More on that later)
We got together at Mark’s Aunt and Uncle’s house. They live off the beaten path and have a cat that has adopted them. It was a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful day outside and the children enjoyed soaking up the sunshine and playing with the kitty. Fortunately for us (and mostly for Miss E) the kitty was as sweet as sweet can be, and didn’t even mind Miss E’s “love”.

And she loved that kitty. The poor kitty didn’t have a chance to get away. And E wouldn’t let it.

Unless she was handing the kitty to N for a brief moment. I also believe that the words “P is not sharing the kitty with me” were said at least once.

Poor kitty. It tried to get away. But E was just too strong.

Let’s go for a ride kitty.

I guess it was a good thing that the kitty was so sweet. Maybe all cats who eat puppy chow are this nice. Maybe I should experiment. Maybe not!
And just so you know, the kitty stayed right there at Aunt Lori’s house! No kitty at our house. I’m sure she and Sam would have had an interesting relationship! Guess we will always have the pictures and memories, but no kitty!
Oh my gosh, too stinking cute
